In Primary 7, the boys and girls have been learning about why bridges are so important, how the first bridges were built and examples of different bridges across the world.
In our STEM lessons the pupils learned about the main forces which act on bridges and through various experiments we understood why it is so important that the forces on a bridge remain balanced.
As part of our Technology lessons, everyone was challenged to design and build a bridge which had to have a 30cm span and could hold a tin of food. 🤔
