Pupils from our Rang 6, Primary 6 and Primary 7 classes lined the streets to show our support for the Baton of Hope, which arrived in Keady today. The Baton of Hope - inspired by the Olympic Torch - serves as a powerful symbol of the support available for those affected by mental illness. We are very proud to have attended this event as we cheered the transfer of the baton from the High School to the TMAC, where speeches were given by Mike McCarthyism, who founded the initiative, and the Deputy Lord Mayor, Jessica Johnson.
