As part of the national drive by ‘Live Here, Love Here’, our school participated in a clean-up around school grounds and surrounding areas on Thursday 11th April. The ‘Big Spring Clean’ aims to improve environmental awareness among pupils whilst creating strong links with our community. We are very proud of our children who put on their high vis vest and gloves and got to work!
A special thanks to Armagh City Council and Darkley Rural Community Group for lending us litter pickers and high vis vests. The event was a tremendous success as a result of our Eco and School Council’s hard work and organisation.
Well done everyone for being a responsible citizen! Remember… don’t be a litter bug!
